THE DILEMMA - By Sylvia Salima

THE DILEMMA

My heart has this one beat of only you
My heart has this lock, with a lost key
My heart has this way hard for people to predict
And now I  have a  dilemma of you

I gave up you and I keep walking an endless street
I choose a path harder than a thousand miles
How can I feel, when I had a lock in me
And now I have a  dilemma of you

Time is at hand
Searching for the unknown
Going at a distance when all is close
How could I be searching when the answer was right in front of me
And bow I have a dilemma of you

I got hurt
I hurt you
We both got hurt
We suffered the consequences
I walk in the streets, left in darkness
I was ungrateful, I was not contented
And now I have this dilemma of you within me.

THE TRUTH WITHIN - By Sylvia Salima

THE TRUTH WITHIN

The Violin in his hand, His mind is at a far
The tears held within the winds resemble his sorrows
The strength in his voice, the pain in his soul
Why hold it all when the truth lies in your soul

The smiley face fades like the watery paint
The thought hit him like a dream in broad daylight
Patient was his virtue, but sorrow was to overcome
Why hold it all when the truth lies in your soul

His silence got the best of him
Now his pain cant be faded by her words
He would rather hold her than leave her,
His words wont change her mind
Why hold it all when the truth lies in your soul

She was a treasure worth keeping
but the wrong treasure for him 'she once said
Healing the truth, Healing the wounds
Regret is unbearable, Time is at its essence
Why hold it all when the truth lies in your soul

Sometimes the truth makes us walk away without a word
Sometimes it avoids us hurting the treasures in our lives
The best he hopes times forgives him
But it never does it reminds him the constant mistakes of his silence.

Falls - By Greg Cameron

Falls

the water sweeps over the rocks
one tree peers tentatively over the edge
at the top
a pool at bottom - looks deep
she sits on a blanket
opening a lunch basket
blinking her eyes at you
seeming nude in spirit
if not in fact
you're reminded of something
high cultural
but who needs high culture
when a bird wheels away
with a joy you'll never know?
one cloud dots the sky
with chubby insolence
as if to say
"here I am, bud!"
and a Yank gets out of his car,
says,"what you going?"
and you say "nothing"
because nothing is what is going on
nothing is all you need
you could fall into the sky
sink to the bottom of the pond
and a dog spills out of the
Yank's car
and sniffs the green
garbage can.....

SYMPATHY - By Sylvia Salima

SYMPATHY

I am trying to say I love you but in my soul it's not right,
I am trying to show you I care, but it never comes out right,
I am trying to make it work, even when I know its falling apart,
Am by you;because I know it is not fair.

Walking out of the door crosses my mind,
Never coming back is a done deal,
How could I when my heart longs for you,
Making up my mind, is harder than it seems,
Am by you, because I know it is not fair.

Longing for another is what my heart does,
Wanting to be yours but my heart cant let go,
My heart tells me am greedy,
What has become of me,
Am by you, because I know it is not fair.

Our hands seem at a side line,
We are either together or falling apart,
I make you happy but my priorities are forgone like the dust,
How can sympathy blend into love,
Am by you;because I know it is not fair.
